On July 14, Saturday, between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, the celebration of Sports Day took place in Leirado, in front of the Town Hall and on the sports court. In this activity we had the Iron Children, a gymkhana 72 meters long gymkhana, unique in Ourense, an 8-meter-high rockery, and a booth for basketball practice.
Children and adults of all ages could participate, free of charge.
All activity was supervised by specialized monitors.
The activity iwas organized by the City Council of Quintela de Leirado in collaboration with the Provincial Council.
At the same time, on August 11, and also with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Ourense, the Pool Party was held, the farewell party of the summer that is celebrated every year in the Public Pools of Leirado, with great success of participation, where both adults and children enjoyed various water games, a party of foam and sweet table throughout the afternoon, totally free.
