TRIBUTE TO JOSE ANTONIO PEREZ CORTES IN THE SENATE

The Senate Hall hosted on November 21 the tribute to Municipalities, an act of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) that commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Municipal Elections of 1979. The Mayor of Quintela de Leirado, José Antonio Pérez Cortés, is one of the twenty mayors of all Spain who maintain the position uninterruptedly. In recognition, he received a diploma from the president of FEMP, Abel Caballero, who presided over the event in the company of the head of the Senate, Manuel Cruz, and the Minister of Territorial Policy, Luis Planas.
