Borders review 2014

On Friday August 29 was held in the city of Verea the signing of the acts of review of border between the municipalities of Melgaço, Lobeira, Verea, Padrenda and Quintela de Leirado. The event began 12 hours of the morning with a meeting between the mayors of each municipality to discuss joint projects that can be done through European projects, especially in terms of tourism, after signing the acts at City Hall and ending with a food fraternization between the different delegations. The border of our city council is on Mount Penagache Xacebás with the peoples of Portuguese Rodeiro, Queimadelo and Coriscadas (Castro Laboreiro) in step Portela Pau.
