The traditional and typical dishes of the area are, like in many other areas of Galicia, the cooked pork with turnip greens, pie, Galician broth, etc ..., and as for pastry, the roulade, the bic the roly-poly, etc ..., that the inhabitants of Quintela of Leirado, handmade in the various furnaces neighborhood preserved in each parish.
Also noteworthy is the breed beef cachena, typical of this area.
