COLLABORATION AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN THE RURAL ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL AND THE QUINTELA DE LEIRADO CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CARRYING OUT OF PREVENTION AND DEFENSE ACTIONS AGAINST FOREST FIRES DURING THE YEAR 2023
Under the aforementioned agreement, the Leirado City Council began forest fire prevention work for the year 2023 by carrying out preventive treatments manually.
These actions correspond to prevention work that is framed within submeasure 8.30 “aid for the prevention of damage caused to forests by fires, natural disasters and catastrophes” of the Rural Development Program (PDR) 2014-2020 for which they are co-financed by the EAFRD (75%), by the General State Administration (7.5%) and by the Xunta de Galicia (17.50%).
